Job Title: AEO/SEO Senior Developer
Location: Dallas, Remote with once in 2 weeks in person (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months
Experience Needed: 10 -12+ Years

About the Role

We are looking for a highly-skilled and technically-driven Senior AEO/SEO Developer who will design, implement, and optimize websites and platforms for maximum search visibility - including traditional SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) . This is a hands-on role where you will bridge engineering and marketing by implementing schema, page-speed optimizations, voice-search enhancements, and advanced content structures to improve search engine rankings and rich result appearances. You'll also mentor junior developers, audit existing codebases, and introduce automation to streamline ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement technical solutions that improve search ranking, crawl efficiency, and rich search experiences (featured snippets, knowledge panels, voice search).
• Integrate structured data (Schema.org, JSON-LD) and optimize front-end code for discoverability and accessibility.
• Improve site performance, mobile optimization, and Core Web Vitals metrics to align with ranking factors.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to monitor search performance and flag optimization opportunities.
• Work with content teams to advise on technical requirements for SEO/AEO-friendly content.
• Conduct regular technical audits and lead initiatives to resolve errors, duplicate content, indexation, or schema issues.
• Stay up to date with algorithm updates, AI-driven search engines, and search interface changes - evolving strategies accordingly.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with product, UX/UI, and marketing teams to align on optimization goals.
• Contribute to the development of AEO/SEO strategy.

Key Competencies & Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with technical SEO/AEO implementation and structured data.
• Strong front-end skills - JavaScript , HTML5 , CSS3 - with proven performance optimization expertise.
• Experience working with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console) and SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
• Familiarity with voice search optimization , rich results, and AI-driven SERP features.
• Deep understanding of page-speed optimization , lazy loading, image optimization, caching, and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. AEM, WordPress) and back-end technologies (e.g. PHP, Node.js).
• Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Exposure to machine learning-driven search trends, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI tools.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams and working cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with international SEO, multilingual sites, and advanced link-building strategies.
