We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Animal Care Technician III to provide exceptional care for animals in our facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of animal husbandry, veterinary procedures, and laboratory protocols to ensure the health, welfare, and proper management of animals in research and care environments.

📍 Location: Lexington, MA

What You'll Do:

• Dosing animals with different route of administration including PO, IP, and SC.​
  
• Performs and records daily food and health checks on various pharmacology studies​
  
• Experience in animal anesthesia and euthanasia​
  
• Performs post-procedural and post-surgical monitoring​
  
• Performs sample and data collection​
  
• Performs necropsy and tissue collection​
  
• Receives and maintains adequate stock of animal care and research supplies​
  
• Technical assistance with injections administration
  

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in animal science / lab support​
  
• Bachelor's degree preferred​
  
• Hands on experience in rodent animal handling and in-life measurements.​
  
• Hands on experience with dosing, bleeding and sample collection
• Ability to review, comprehend and comply with all standard operation procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance standards pertaining to laboratory animals
