CAD Drafter

About:
The CAD Drafter will work under the guidance of the Process Control Manager to support Project Managers by creating and updating technical drawings, layouts, and designs.
Responsibilities
Use AutoCAD to create and revise detailed and assembly drawings
Prepare final drawings by checking dimensions, materials, and part relationships
Convert rough sketches into accurate technical drawings
Calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other design specifications
Maintain and update drafting and engineering standards
Organize and manage drawing files
Coordinate with Fabrication, Engineering, QA, and Manufacturing teams
Apply relevant city, county, and state design standards
Create drawings from existing physical parts or assemblies
Assist with submittals and drawing revisions
Support ongoing improvements and version control
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience with AutoCAD
Preferred experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machining environment
Skills
Strong math, reading, and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
