If you're ready to take on a high-visibility role with cross-functional collaboration and strategic influence, we want to hear from you! **Position Overview** This is a **full-time contract role** as a member of the Supply Chain Procurement team in the Americas Region, responsible for **Sourcing and Contracting of Road, Rail, and Intermodal Logistics Services** . **Key Responsibilities** + Develop regional procurement strategies and manage sourcing & contracting for logistics services in line with operational and business requirements. + Lead contract negotiations and placements with a focus on value creation for regional supply chain needs. + Ensure all routes and rates are current; quote and contract new lanes promptly. + Manage supplier performance, segment supplier base, and review KPIs to ensure expectations and value delivery. + Collaborate internally with Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement, Legal, HR, EHSS, Sustainability, and Finance. + Prepare reports, presentations, and category metrics for stakeholders. + Provide market insights and trends to inform business decisions. **Job-Specific Skills** + Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) across all business levels and cultures. + Proven expertise in negotiation, supplier management, analytics, and change management. + Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities. + Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus. **Requirements** + Master's degree in Economics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (or Bachelor's with extensive relevant experience). + **10+ years** in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, and contracting of land and intermodal transportation services. + Minimum **7+ years** directly managing procurement of rail transportation and logistics services in the Americas. + Strong SAP experience; Ariba preferred.
