Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to support daily operations for a family that is based in Sharon, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home environment, assisting with daily household tasks, and ensuring the overall comfort and well-being of the family.  It is essential that qualified applicants have experience and comfort caring for dogs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other household areas.
• Wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and kitchen cleanup.
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning.
• Assist with childcare and/or transportation when necessary.
• Maintain household supplies and inventory.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the homeowner.
• Adhere to household rules and standards for cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying.
• Experience with pets
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
• Cooking experience is strongly preferred. 

Schedule : Monday through Friday, day hours, 10-20 hours/week.
Compensation: $20-$25/hour based on experience.
