Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Order Picker Operators and Dock Stocker Operators to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating forklifts with a focus on warehouse procedures and safety. The Forklift operator will be responsible for ensuring that all operations are performed efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Pick all orders in a safe, accurate, and methodical manner. You may put away products, relocate pallets, cancel, and inspect orders.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use an Order Picker or Dock Stocker Forklift to place or remove large items on warehouse shelves
• Package and label items for shipment
• Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse
• May use the forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory
• Follow all safety regulations
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including loading and unloading delivery trucks

Requirements

• Atleast 1 year experience operating an Order Picker, Dock Stocker, or Turret - we are hiring for all roles - candidates without specific order picker, dock stocker, or turret experience will not be considered for this role.
• Knowledge of proper forklift safety skills and techniques.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Forklift certification preferred but not mandatory.

Shifts and Pay:

• 1st Shift - Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm - $18.00 p/h
• 2nd Shift - Monday-Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm OR 3pm-11pm - $19.00 p/h
• 3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am $19.50 p/h
• Weekend - Fri-Sun 5:30am-5:30pm $20-21.00 p/h

 

 

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

 

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
