**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** The role involves monitoring spools as they run through a machine and assisting with feeding wire through the machine. Tasks may include placing wire onto spools, which may require sitting for the entire shift. The job is repetitive with occasional downtime, and includes inspecting parts to ensure quality. Lifting up to 50 lbs of billets or bars may be required. **Responsibilities** + Monitor spools running through a machine. + Assist in feeding wire through the machine. + Place wire onto spools, possibly requiring sitting for extended periods. + Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met. + Lift billets or bars weighing up to 50 lbs. **Essential Skills** + General labor experience. + Machine operation skills. + Ability to perform quality inspections. + Familiarity with forklift operations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Altoona, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
