Job Description

HVAC Service Technician

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC technician to maintain customers equipment. Identify and repair HVAC systems issues. Parts installation. The HVAC technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. You will guide and advise the customer in areas that need improvement or equipment that should be updated.

Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent communication, organizational and troubleshooting skills. Must be able to run job start to finish, have good work ethic, a professional and positive attitude, a neat and clean appearance. Must possess a valid driver's license, have dependable transportation, be punctual and reliable.

HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Comply with our company standards, service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

HVAC Technician Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
  • Working knowledge of boiler systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with others and be a team player.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (Ex: crawl spaces, attics).
  • Have own hand tools.
