Position: Registered Nurse – RN

Schedule & Location

• Shifts: 2 to 3 shifts a week (Currently open Fridays and Saturdays)
• Location: Kyle, TX 78640
• Age Range: 15 years old
• Acuity: Feeding Tube and Medication Administration

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification (Aveanna can assist with this after hire)
• TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation is a must

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Continuously observe and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary.
• Document all activities and nursing actions in a timely manner.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.
• Maintain compliance with Aveanna policies and state regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged walking, standing, and bending.
• Must be able to travel and respond to emergency situations.
• Function in various environments, potentially exposed to allergens and infectious diseases.
