Job Description: Maintenance Technician "To become the world's greatest baker, we need the world's greatest team members! Location: Brownsburg, INStarting Wage: $35.25 per hour+$1/hour shift differential for night shift2 opportunities for performance raises in your first year20% built-in overtimeSchedules Available:We work a modified 2-2-3 schedule working 12-hour shifts.Nights: 6:00pm-6:00am; +20% built in overtime (48-hour weeks)Our Mechanics are multi-craft mechanics; they work on everything from facility maintenance to our production equipment. Our ideal candidate will have a variety of mechanical and electrical skillsets. They prioritize personnel and food safety at all times.ResponsibilitiesRespond and react to mechanical issues in the production environment in a timely and efficient manner.Complete maintenance projects - PM tasks and work orders as assigned.Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.Write parts requests, complete work orders, and write corrective work ordersFollow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Keep a clean work areaPerform building inspections and routinesCommunicate with other team membersPerform Lock-Out-Tag-Out when necessaryRequirementsMinimum 4 years work experience in a maintenance mechanic environment.Must have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Must have a strong understanding of AC/DC motors, motor control circuits, and photoeyes / sensors, etc.Knowledge of conveyance a strong plus.Must be computer literate.Familiarity with CMMS work order systemsFood manufacturing background a plus with an understanding of FDA requirementsMust have good attention to detail. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.Should be able to understand blueprints and drawingsMust be able to work independently with minimum supervisionMust be able to work at heights from ladders or scissor liftsMust be able to make decisionsShould have a working knowledge of the following:Welding, Machining, Plumbing, Pipefitting, ElectricityMust be able to speak, read, and write EnglishWhat is the recipe for a great career at FGF?Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
