What You’ll Do The Infusion Pharmacist plays a vital role in ensuring our community has safe, accurate, and accessible infusion services. This position serves as a key liaison between clinics, outside providers, and our infusion team to deliver patient-centered care and support the hospital’s commitment to quality. Although this role focuses on infusion services, the Infusion Pharmacist will first gain proficiency in the inpatient pharmacy setting and be trained to provide pharmaceutical services throughout the Grand River Health District.

• Collaborate with clinics, promote biosimilar agents, and provide drug information to infusion staff and patients.
• Manage order sets, formulary agents, and education of medications.
• Serve as primary contact for billing, review orders, coordinate provider approval, and oversee medication storage.
• Assist with drug purchasing, inventory management, and enrollment in support programs.
• Supervise personnel, participate in process improvement, and support departmental initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Licensed by the State of Colorado Board of Pharmacy
• Minimum of two years’ experience in hospital pharmacy.
• Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency may be used for the experience requirement.
