We are currently on the look out for a Junior Platform engineer at Outpost 24, you will work as part of a global, autonomous team ensuring continuous delivery of our market leading platform, with a continuous improvement mindset. You will play an integral part of the GPO team, managing the 24×7 offering of authentication solutions in the cloud. You will work with a team of developers, quality assurance testers, product services, support, and, of course Platform engineers.

As a Platform Engineer within the Global Platform Operations team your responsibilities will be:

• Deploy, support, and manage new releases
• Automate and improve the Specops continuous delivery process
• Research and implement new tools and technologies
• Ensure up-time and service reliability
• Maintain security best practices
• Monitor and improve performance

What type of experience do we expect from our ideal candidate?

• 1+ years working as a software developer in a CI/CD and DevOps environment
• Experience working with business critical systems
• Real-life Azure and/or AWS experience
• Designing and automating workflows and processes

What skills do we require from an ideal candidate?

Required:

• Strong scripting skills, preferably using PowerShell
• Continuous delivery - Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy or similar.
• Server/application monitoring/logging
• Databases in general, and Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Verbal and written technical communication skills in English

Desirable:

• Experience writing code - C# .NET
• Windows server/Active directory management
• Linux administration
• Container technologies (docker etc.)
• Networking
• Virtualization
