K-8 Music Teacher & Chorus/Band Director - Come make music with us! About the Role: Are you an energetic, passionate Music Teacher? Do you love to inspire young musicians? If so, we invite you to join our team as the K-8 Music Teacher & Chorus/Band Director and inspire our young musicians. As a K-8 Music Teacher & Chorus/Band Director, you will: You’ll light up classrooms with engaging, hands-on music instruction from Kindergarten through 8th grade. You’ll direct and grow vibrant chorus and band programs for grades 4–8, inspiring confidence and teamwork. You’ll showcase student talent through performances, concerts, and school events that bring families and the community together. You’ll collaborate with passionate educators and integrate music into a rich Montessori learning environment. You’ll make a lasting impact on children who will carry a love of music with them for life. What You Bring: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Music Education Experience leading choral and band ensembles, especially for students in grades 4–8. Strong classroom management skills Is creative, organized, and ready to think outside the box. Thrives in a collaborative, child-centered environment. Is excited to be part of a supportive community that celebrates growth, creativity, and curiosity. Preferred Qualifications: North Carolina Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
