Multifamily Lease Administrator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized  Multifamily Lease Administrator to manage the administration and tracking of residential leases across a portfolio of multifamily properties.  This role ensures the accuracy of lease data, compliance with lease terms, and the timely execution of leasing documents.  The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between property management, legal, and accounting teams.

• Lease Administration & Documentation
  • Draft, review, and process new lease agreements, renewals, addendums, and terminations
  • Ensure all lease documents are complete, signed, and compliant with company standards and legal requirements
  • Maintain digital and physical lease files in an organized and secure manner
• Data Management
  • Enter and update lease information in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
  • Monitor lease expirations, rent escalations, and renewal deadlines
  • Ensure accurate tracking of tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease changes
• Communication & Coordination
  • ​​​​​​​ Collaborate with property managers and leasing agents to resolve lease discrepancies
  • Respond to internal and external lease-related inquiries
  • Coordinate with legal or compliance teams on lease disputes or special provisions
• Compliance & Reporting
  • ​​​​​​​ Ensure all leasing practices adhere to fair housing laws and company policies
  • Generate lease reports, rent rolls, and occupancy reports for internal teams
  • Support audit requests and internal reviews

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of lease administration or property management experience (multifamily experience preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of lease terms and residential leasing procedures
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI)
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
