We’re looking for a full-time, in-office, salaried Loan Officer to join our growing team! You’ll convert pre-qualified leads into new customers and turn existing clients into repeat business. • Meet with prospects and convert them into new clients and ensure their needs are met
• Maintain the customer database with updated information on past, current, and potential clients
• Entice customers to use our services again by following up via phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication after initial purchase
• Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service
• Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting, such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
• Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation, then report any discrepancies to the loan originator

Qualifications:

• Possess superb customer service skills, listening skills, presentation skills, and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required, college experience is highly valued
• At least 3+ years of mortgage experience, preferably as a loan officer assistant or loan officer
• Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc
• Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and Encompass software preferred
