Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
Duration: 13 Weeks (high potential for extension)
Local Candidates: $1,800 – $2,100 weekly gross
Travel Nurses: $2,000 – $2,500 weekly gross
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on each patient’s individual needs.
Assess, prioritize, and coordinate patient care through comprehensive planning and evaluation.
Develop and maintain individualized care plans using assessment findings and clinical judgment.
Initiate nursing assessments based on patient conditions, diagnoses, and functional health needs.
Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Document all aspects of care in accordance with professional standards and facility policies.
Promote and advocate for the use of evidence-based practices and innovations in nursing care.
Provide patient-centered care aligned with nursing professional standards.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PACU and critical care settings.
Strong background and clinical proficiency in Telemetry .
Must hold active Telemetry certification .
Valid NJ Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license
BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
