RD Nutrition Consultants, LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for a retirement community setting. Facility Type: Retirement Community / Assisted Living
Schedule: Flexible
Hours: 5–10 hours per week
Approximately 30% remote (documentation, menu review, care coordination)
On-site presence required for assessments and facility collaboration
Compensation: $40.00–$46.00 per hour (based on experience)
Travel & Mileage: Paid in addition to hourly rate

Review and approve menus for regular and therapeutic diets to ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance
Identify residents at nutritional risk and complete nutrition assessments as needed
Conduct periodic kitchen and food service audits to evaluate safety, sanitation, and quality standards
Collaborate with culinary and care teams to enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction
Provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations and follow-up as appropriate
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (required)
Experience in assisted living, retirement communities, or long-term care preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable with electronic documentation and remote work tools
Ability to work independently while maintaining high clinical standards
Commitment to resident-centered care and professional ethics
