Base pay range $162,927.00/yr - $162,927.00/yr Job Description Purpose of Position Podiatrists perform podiatric medical and surgical care in various healthcare settings in conformance with New York State Scope of Practice for podiatry and Gotham Health bylaws. Privileges granted depend on PGY level, experience, and demonstrated competence. Responsibilities Make rounds, examine patients, take medical histories, prescribe diagnostic tests, and provide or direct treatment related to the human foot. Prescribe corrective footwear. Advise patients and families on care, medication, and related matters. Attend conferences, training, and in-service programs. Consult with other healthcare staff. Supervise and guide healthcare team members. Minimum Qualifications Valid license and current registration to practice Podiatry issued by NYSED. Preferred Qualifications Spanish language skills are preferred. Licenses and Education License to practice podiatry issued by NY. Graduation from an accredited podiatric medical school.
