Full-Time Position
Role: Python Developer
Location: Onsite in one of the following cities – Pittsburgh, PA; Birmingham, AL; Phoenix, AZ; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Philadelphia, PA; Jacksonville, FL; Miamisburg, OH (near Dayton); or Rocky Mount, NC (near Raleigh)
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Implement data models using SQLAlchemy or SQLModel to ensure efficient data handling.
• Create and manage background tasks with Celery for asynchronous processing.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications to improve performance and reliability
Requirements
• Must have 5+ years of experience .
• Proven experience in Python programming, particularly with FastAPI framework.
• Strong understanding of SQLAlchemy or SQLModel for database interactions.
• Familiarity with Celery for task queuing and asynchronous processing.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and ability to write efficient queries.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
