Quality Assurance Engineer II, Alexa Endpoints

The Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) role in the Alexa Endpoints team focuses on testing next-generation AI-powered features across multiple device platforms, with a deep emphasis on core Alexa SDK implementation for iOS and Android. The role involves comprehensive testing of Alexa+ capabilities, which include advanced conversational interactions and generative AI-powered assistive technologies. Key job responsibilities entail comprehensive testing across critical endpoints including Android, iOS, and other device platforms, developing and maintaining test suites that cover voice interactions, text interactions, mobile‑specific flows, and cross‑platform testing requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
  • Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
  • Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing
