Job Title:Research AssociateDepartment:Academic Affairs Administration | Kirwan InstituteThe research associate will work with the rest of the research team to conduct community-engaged research with Ohio State faculty and students as well as community partners at the local, state and federal level. This position analyzes administrative data across a variety of sectors, including but not limited to government, education, and healthcare to answer mutually agreed upon applied questions within the study of poverty, race and ethnicity.
*Required Minimum Qualifications*
* Bachelor's in a Related Social Science Field (such as economics, planning, political science, psychology, public policy, or sociology) or Equivalent Experience
* 3 years of relevant experience required with Associate's Degree, or 1 year of relevant experience required with Bachelor's Degree.
*Required Qualifications*
* Demonstrated expertise in two or more research methodologies, including but not limited to quantitative statistical analysis, qualitative or interpretive analysis, or multi-method analysis
* 1-3 years' experience applying social science research designs to conduct applied research
*Desired Qualifications *
* Masters Degree
* Fluency in a second language other than English
Additional Information:The target hiring range for this job profile is *$51,500 - $55,385* The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
