Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
12 Months contract with possibility of extension

Job Description:
  • Senior Business Systems Analyst
  • Client is looking for a dynamic Business Systems Analyst to join our team, with a focus on a SharePoint professional.
  • This position is open to individuals who are smart, high-potential resources with both good computing fundamentals and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with fellow IT professionals on the full lifecycle of multiple high-profile projects
  • Estimate System Analyst deliverables, and provide updates on progress towards those deliverables
  • Document technical use cases, specifications, data models, systems interfaces, and other related System Analyst deliverables
  • Perform application installations and administration for server-based software
  • Investigate and resolve defects
  • Analyze and compare alternative solutions, and make appropriate recommendations
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business customers, IT colleagues, and software vendors
  • System test planning and text execution of new solutions.
  • Develop scripts and processes to assist in these objectives
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned
What are the top (at least 3 if possible) “must have” skill sets (technical/functional) which are required?
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint (both data tables and site management)
  • Power BI skills
  • Power Apps
What are the top “nice to have” skill sets?
  • Scripting in SQL, PowerShell, Bash
  • Documentation and requirements gathering.
  • Strong analytical ability.
What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)?
  • Self directed and highly motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with IT and customer teams.
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What education and certifications/licensures are required?
  • Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent engineering or business-related field strongly preferred.
  • Are there any specific companies/industries or ideal background you’d like to see in the candidate’s experience? Ideal background would IT experience with another electric utility.

Pay Range: $53 - $56 Hourly on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
