Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

CalPERS seeks an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) in the Pension Contracts and Prefunding Programs Division (PCPP), State Social Security Administrator Unit.

PCPP is responsible for the administration and management oversight of employer retirement and special programs contracts including the California Employers’ Retiree Trust, California Employers’ Pension Prefunding Trust, Supplemental Income Programs, the Retirement Benefit Program, Retirement and other prefunding programs. CalPERS serves as the State Social Security Administrator (SSSA) for the State of California and is responsible for administering all aspects of Section 218 coverage. This includes interpreting its provisions and ensuring the proper application of Social Security and/or Medicare coverage to all State and local government employees.
