Location: Westlake Village, CA

Pay: $65000 - $75000 / Year

Job Description:

The Assistant Property Manager will support daily operations of commercial properties, ensuring smooth management of tenant relations, budgets, and property services. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You will oversee roughly 300,000 sq foot of real estate and partner with 100+ tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day property operations including CAM, budgets, invoice processing, and work orders.
  • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet research tools.
  • Respond promptly to tenant, vendor, and internal communications.
  • Oversee tenant move-in and move-out processes.
  • Support budget preparation, operating expense reconciliations, and estimates.
  • Apply knowledge of commercial leases and insurance requirements.
  • Ensure strong communication and follow-up with tenants, vendors, and ownership.

Qualifications:

  • Prior Assistant Property Management experience required.
  • Experience preparing financial reports and detailed property budgets.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (elevators, chillers, fire-life-safety, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently or within a team.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
