Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Senior Executive Writer !
This role will be a part of the infrastructure that supports the CEO. The Executive Writer must be highly flexible, adaptable, and able to rapidly pivot to meet the needs of the evolving organization. they must be able to execute at speed. They must be in lockstep with specific circumstances, challenges, and goals of the CEO. Furthermore, they need to have strong interpersonal skills and collaborate well with various functions.
The role requires strong writing skills, a deep understanding of the executive's priorities, and the ability to align with the executive’s voice and the overall tone and brand messages of the company. The chosen candidate needs to convey credibility, and s erve as an experienced executive communicator, advisor, and coach to senior level executives.
Responsibilities
Employee Communication: Writing leadership emails, memos, year-end comms, and newsletters for CEO internal communication; create agenda and content for employee townhalls, video recordings.
External communication: Writing client and partner correspondence, video recordings.
Executive social media: Writing and managing social media content for public-facing communication, blog posts.
Board communication: Email communication and board meeting prep.
Speechwriting: Crafting speeches for CEO to deliver at conferences, meetings, events.
Presentations: Developing presentation materials, including slides, and talking points.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications/Skills
Relevant years of proven experience in senior-level executive communications or journalism.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Understanding of business and communications issues
Understanding of public relations and internal communications
Knowledge of social and digital channels
Ability to recognize and create high-impact creative narratives and initiatives that engage audiences and create compelling storylines and experiences
Conveys credibility and can provide counsel to senior level executives
Strong interpersonal skills and an intuitive ability to read people
Self-driven, self-motivated and moves forward with agility
Intellectually curious, willing to challenge, bring new ideas to the table in pursuit of better.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$100,000 to $125, 000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
