Director of Human Resources
CMM Talent Partners is working with a client based in Frisco, TX with operations in the US and other countries is seeking a qualified Director of Human Resources to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity for a seasoned HR leader who can drive strategic people initiatives across a dynamic, global organization.
Director of Human Resources Overview
The Director of Human Resources is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping and executing people strategies in alignment with the organization’s global and regional business goals. Reporting to the VP of Global Human Resources, this position will provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership across North America, while collaborating with regional teams in other countries. The ideal candidate is a skilled HR business partner, experienced in organizational design, talent development, and change leadership within a matrixed, international environment.
Director of Human Resources Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR and business strategies for global impact.
Lead regional HR teams in North America, while maintaining cross-functional coordination with HR leaders across the organization.
Support organizational development initiatives including succession planning, leadership development, and career progression for key talent.
Act as a coach and consultant to senior business leaders on people management and team effectiveness.
Drive a performance-based culture through total rewards strategies in partnership with the global compensation team.
Design and execute end-to-end talent management programs, including workforce planning, employee engagement, and change management.
Implement global HR policies and ensure regional compliance with corporate standards and local regulations.
Analyze and report on key HR metrics to guide decision-making and monitor the effectiveness of HR programs.
Partner with the Training & Development function to build and measure impactful learning and development initiatives.
Provide strategic guidance on global mobility matters and support transitions of key personnel across regions.
Champion the organization’s employer brand and ensure consistent messaging through people practices.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ensure ethical HR standards across all activities.
Director of Human Resources Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of HR business partner experience, preferably in global manufacturing or technology environments.
At least 5 years of experience partnering with global or senior leadership teams.
Proven ability to lead HR initiatives in a matrixed, multi-location organization.
Demonstrated success in organizational development, change leadership, and talent strategy.
Experience managing or partnering with international teams; global HR experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and executive coaching skills.
Fluent English, both written and verbal.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
