About Lauren Ashley Design:
Lauren Ashley Design is an Interior Design Studio focused on creating beautifully functional spaces with a personalized touch. We offer high-quality design services to clients, blending creativity and functionality to transform homes into design masterpieces. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Freelance Interior Design Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Overview:
This is a project-based freelance position where you will work alongside our principal designer to assist with various aspects of interior design projects. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and expertise while learning from experienced professionals. The role requires flexibility and strong organizational skills, with opportunities to contribute to both large and small-scale design projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with design research and concept development.
• Create mood boards and design boards.
• Support with drafting and creating design presentations.
• Help with sourcing materials, furniture, and decor items.
• Assist with client communication and project coordination.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and project goals.
• Ensure design concepts align with the client's vision and style.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD , SketchUp , Chief Architect , or other design software (experience in Twin Motion or willingness to learn is a plus).
• Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail.
• Basic understanding of space planning and color theory.
• Comfortable with research and sourcing products for design projects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated , reliable, and have the ability to work independently.

Qualifications:

• Must have a strong interest in interior design, home decor, or home design .
• At least 3 year of field experience or recent graduate from interior design, creative industries, or architecture degree.
• Knowledge of SketchUp , AutoCAD , and Chief Architect (or similar software) is required.
• Must be able to work remotely with reliable internet access.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Pay Structure:
This is a project-based freelance position, and compensation will be determined based on the scope and complexity of each individual project.

• Project-Based Compensation: You will receive a set fee per project, which will be agreed upon in advance based on the scope of work.
• Payment Schedule: Payment will be processed once the project is completed and delivered to the client.
• Varied Workload: The number of projects available will vary, allowing flexibility to take on as many or as few projects as you’d like.
