Position Summary We are seeking a contract Project Manager to support our global CPG and packaging clients. The role involves interacting with various teams, departments, and clients to ensure project success. Responsibilities include gathering project requirements, establishing plans, managing costs, and overseeing execution. This position is remote, supporting our team for over 6 months, starting mid-May. It involves collaboration with onsite staff in Chicago. The hourly rate is approximately $30-35, with potential variation based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. Key Responsibilities Understanding and analyzing project requirements. Developing and maintaining detailed project plans. Communicating project status and requirements across teams. Identifying potential issues and proposing solutions. Managing project budgets and deviations. Collaborating with manufacturing, sales, marketing, and purchasing teams. Monitoring daily project progress, assessing risks, and resolving issues. Conducting project reviews and serving as the main contact for stakeholders. Participating in planning meetings and providing expertise on workflows and timelines. Implementing workflow management and reporting tools. Contributing to process improvements and cross-functional initiatives. Leading and developing team members. Performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or related field. 4+ years of project management experience or equivalent. Willingness to travel as needed. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications. Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and planning skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships and work independently or in teams. Attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting. Work Environment Regular physical activity including standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and seeing. Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
