Description
A Loan Officer helps individuals and businesses apply for and obtain loans. They evaluate loan applications, explain loan options, and guide clients through the approval process. Loan Officers work with banks, credit unions, or other financial institutions to ensure loans are processed accurately and in compliance with regulations.
(Day-to-Day Responsibilities)
- Train directly under top-producing Mortgage Bankers and leadership
- Learn and apply real sales tactics through hands-on coaching
- Take and make calls from warm leads from multiple referral and lead sources
- Learn how to use our CRM and loan origination systems
- Provide top-tier customer service to clients and referral partners
- Participate in sales meetings, contests, and performance incentives
- Work in a fast-paced, competitive team environment that rewards effort and results
(Ideal Candidate)
- No mortgage experience required, we train you
- Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years of inside sales, service, military, or commission-based experience
- Experience in sales, hospitality, retail, customer service, or athletics is a plus
- Outgoing, competitive, and naturally good with people
- Strong communicator (phone, written, and in-person)
- Motivated by money, growth, and performance
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
- Self-starter who doesn't need hand-holding after training
- Organized, proactive, and a problem-solver
- Wants to win, not just work
