Our wellness/chiropractic facility is looking for a seasoned massage therapist to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client/patient, and has experience with varied physical conditions treatable with massage therapy. This is a part-time position involving 15 hours to start with growth potential if desired. Responsibilities:

• Provide added value to client’s with suggestions for stretching, strengthening, stress relief, and overall wellness maintenance
• Assess and advise on each client’s unique needs, taking into consideration their level of stress, physical condition, and medical history, and offer recommendations for types of massage and treatment
• Make sure the massage table and products to be used on the client’s skin are ready before every appointment
• Build positive relationships with clients and team members to create a pleasant work environment
• Keep track of client treatment records and plans and monitor improvement

Qualifications:

• Adequate knowledge of a variety of massage techniques such as reflexology, sports massage, Swedish massage, and deep-tissue massage
• Over one year of work experience as a massage therapist
• Active Illinois massage therapy license in good standing
• Experience working in a clinical setting
