Job Description

The Site Security Manager will develop and implement a high degree of effective security strategies and policies, oversee incident and crisis management activities, provide security-related counsel, and complete investigative and security assignments while leading a team. This will be only a 6 month position, not long-term. **Responsibilities** + Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. + Develop, implement, follow up and review security strategies, policies and regulations. + Conduct security analysis, audits, and training. + Maintain state-required security licenses. + Oversee security incident response and crisis management activities. + Manage and coordinate operations of a security team. + Meet regularly with client representatives for status updates, addresses any actual or potential problems, provide support during service level changes, and support security planning and assessments. + Manage and prioritize safety and security projects. + Be relied upon as a subject matter expert. + All other duties, as assigned. **Qualifications** High School Diploma or GED with at least two years of law enforcement, military, and/or security leadership experience, preferred. **Competencies:** + Knowledgeable in security practices and strong management experience. + Physical security experience. + Serve as an effective team leader. + Strong problem resolution skills. + Incident and emergency response and crisis management experience. + Crime prevention knowledge. + Results-oriented and client-focused. + Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. + Ability to identify and adapt quickly to emerging situations. + Strong team building and development skills. + Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with limited instruction. + Strong communication skills and relentless attention to detail. + Computer skills; Microsoft Office. **Working Conditions:** With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions; + Exposure to sensitive and confidential information. + Regular computer usage. + Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment. + Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision. + Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations. + Rapid and effective decision-making during unusual or emergency situations. + Frequent sitting and/or standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. + Must be able to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure successful completion of work assignments. + Travel, as required.
