Surgical Dental Assistant

A Surgical Dental Assistant is needed in Jacksonville, FL.

Our Client and Position
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join a well-established, state of the art and modern dental practice in Jacksonville, FL. This opportunity is with a team that values both outstanding patient care and a positive, supportive work environment for its staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of surgical procedures in both Periodontics and Prosthodontics, such as:
  • Sinus Lifts, Bone Grafts, Soft Tissue Grafts, Implant Placements and More
• Prepare and organize tools needed for dental procedures
• Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment
• Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and treatment areas
• Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-op care instructions
• Accurately document patient care and treatment plans

Work Schedule

• 5 Day Work Week is Preferred
  • 4 Days in Jacksonville Office with schedule of:
    • Monday and Wednesday from 8am-4pm
    • Tuesday and Thursday 10am-6pm
  • 1 Day in Starke Office:
    • Friday from 9am-5pm
• 4 Day Work Week is an Option- this schedule would only involve the one office in Jacksonville
• No weekends or major holidays

Requirements

• Certification Not Required
• 3+ Years of Experience Assisting with Surgical Procedures is Required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
